rusty, golden days.
OH MY GOODNESS. never thought ill blog again. im bored, cant sleep and i have absolutely nothing on later in the day. oh well, might as well talk to myself for a little bit here.
yeah its a tuesday and i have nothing on. no dance, no dates and the coolest part is NO SCHOOL. my school holidays has commenced ya'll. not that its any better but at least i get to sleep till the nightmares kick-in to chase me out of my slumber. (no im not kidding!)
ive been going on like that for about a week now; sleeping for like about 12 hours and still not being able to get enough of it. sleeping seems like the most painless resort to living life which is, of course, kinda pointless since there is literally no life in us when we're sleeping. they say that it might be a sign of depression if one sleeps too much. but i just think that its the sticky holiday mood kinda feeling. its like putting me in hawaii for a few hours and draggin me back down to hell. like HELLO. i want hawaii, thank you very much. no fire, no pitchforks, just palm trees by a beach with the soothing sounds of nature. (benjy, you so needa start saving for a vacation.)
ok im ranting crap but im talkin to myself so who cares.
yeah, you most probably think that im deprived of life but hey, i do have things to do besides sleeping which totally stinks...... truth is...reality sucks so bad that i just want to stay away from it in the safe embraces of the Sandman. and reality includes so much more than what the eyes can see WHICH...sucks thrice as bad. this is an advantage mentally retarded people have over me... (or any other normal human being, for the matter.)
well, of course there are some days that are actualy worth getting up for. don't wanna go in depth but ya, definately much better than the usual rehearsals...........................ok i seriously dont wanna go in depth, since benjy's depth can't seem to end.
and so ive been dancing quite a lot lately, as usual (if im not sleeping, that is). that includes a number of competitions i joined but failed. dosent matter, lessons were learnt and thats the ultimate prize anyone can get from anything they do in life. remember that, benny-boy. shan't brag about the past. lets move on to brag about the future! woots!
my instincts say that the remainder of 2009 will sum up an epic closure for this memorable yet not so pleasant year. (especially with the death of beloved MJ.........)
nonetheless, here's what's in stored. :)
Dance! Crown Of Honour Semi-Finals - this will be coming up really soon. like... less than 2 weeks time. it will be held in genting (the only thing which truly excites me) and the lucky groups that make it to the finals will get to pit themselves against malaysia's dancers. you needa pay 138 bucks to tag along. coming? guess not. NEXT.
Reflections 09/ MUSE - republic polytechnic's dance concert is back for its 3rd year! im aimming to do both modern dance and hip-hop for this one. hopefully im allowed to cause if i pull this off, its gonna be yet another milestone for me. :D
Impak Maksima - this is a musical held in esplanade in october. quite exciting since ive never felt the stage in esplanade before. part of the preparation requires us to travel to KL to rehearse alongside our fellow KL dance counterparts. yet another holiday-cum-dance assignment thingy. might just be enriching. -optimistic me-
'O'School Recital 09 - first time joining a dance recital. hehe. i got through the auditions! cant wait for practices to start. im so gonna have fun for this one.
Floor The Love 09 - my first time in this too. not too excited for it but i guess its probably too early to be excited for it since itll be in december. :)
that sums up the list of events for the end of 2009. DCOH is most likely gonna be my last competition for the year. im getting so sick and tired of competitions... guess i really need a break from all the competitive hustle and bustle of the human race. either that or im just growing old a little too fast (kinda unlikely huh?).
ok its 5am! shit. im still not tired. must be due to the excessive snoozing recently. oh well, gonna try my luck anyways.
